Here are some of the project work carried out by classes to celebrate Grandparents' Day. The children wrote acrostic poems, some classes interviewed their grandparents, others took part in the alphabet challenge coming up with adjectives describing their grandparents from A-Z!
The children enjoyed placing pins on a world map to mark the countries where their grandparents live, and this special display was showcased in the hall.
As part of our celebrations for Grandparents’ Day, we asked grandparents to send cards and postcards to the children from their far away homes, and we were delighted by their thoughtful responses. The cards were displayed for all to admire and celebrate these special family connections.
