Presentation of Certificates to all the participants in the Write-a-Book Project 2008 took place in the school hall on Friday 16th of May. Past pupil and historian Stephen Kelly presented the certificates. We were delighted to welcome Stephen back to Queen of Angels. Having completed his Masters he is now working towards his doctorate in history. Parents were there to see their children receiving their certificates. Mr. O'Driscoll welcomed everyone, congratulated all the children including the special merit award winners and the International children. He also thanked the teachers for encouraging and helping the children in this project. After the presentation Stephen visited two fifth classes and one sixth class where he facilitated a lively and enthusiastic discussion on a wide range of topics from World War 11 to the Famine. We wish Stephen well in his further studies and we look forward to the publication of his own book!
