Pupils from the senior classes visit the Aviva stadium to an open training session for the Republic of Ireland team

On Tuesday 9th October, 14 children from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class got the chance to go to the Aviva Stadium. We were invited to an open training session for the Republic of Ireland team in preparation for their upcoming League of Nations fixtures against Wales and Denmark. We got the chance to watch them going through their warm up, training routines and a practice match. At the end of the training session the players came over to the crowd and gave us autographs and pictures. Players such as Darren Randolph, Shane Duffy and Assistant Manager Roy Keane were chatting to us about their games. We had a great time at the Aviva Stadium!
