Here at Queen of Angels PS we are delighted to announce that our boys and girls in third class claimed the second prize in Minister Shane Ross’ Critter Corner initiative competition. The boys and girls worked incredibly hard to design and build a corner of the school garden that was dedicated to creating a home for bugs, animals and insects. The prize that the children won was a visit to the school from Minister Shane Ross himself and also The Critter Shed podcast host and Herpetologist Collie Ennis. Collie brought to the class an incredible array of wonderful exotic reptiles, bugs and insects. The school are committed to maintaining the corner and looking forward to seeing it flourish in the coming months.
