| We had a very colourful eventful week in the run up to our International/ intercultural day. We had various workshops, which the children enjoyed immensely, on dance and music from around the world- Salsa, West African drumming and Brazilian Capoeira. The classes all prepared very informative projects to share our knowledge of some of the countries and communities repesented by our students and they brought in objects and memorobilia from the various countries. Some of the students dressed in traditional clothes from their countries. Some of our new students who attend English Language Support entertained us with a short play on the mystery of Humpty Dumpty's fall., and the classes gave a superb concert of songs 15 different languages! It was great to see so many parents and visitors in the school to enjoy the events. |
