Farmer, Darragh McCullogh, and his Agriaware mobile farm to the school on the 23rd of April and brought with them a selection of farm animals for the children to see and touch. Minister Eamon Ó Cuiv came to launch their new website. Many of the students were surprised to hear the cockerel crowing in the yard to announce the start of the school day. The students thoroughly enjoyed learning about the animals and handling them, discovering how oily the sheep's fleece was,but the highlight of the event had to be watching the sheep being shorn by champion shearer, Pat Corrigan. |
