Eight South Korean students were guests of Queen of Angels Primary School for three weeks in the month of January. Their purpose was to integrate with the fifth class pupils of the school and learn English. They were part of a group of forty-five students who were place in a number of schools in the South Dublin Area. Fr Brendan McHale of The Columban Fathers from Dalgan in Navan Co Meath, made contact with the Board of Management of Queen of Angels Primary School through Principal, Finbarr O’Driscoll. They adapted very well to life in school and were sad to leave on Tuesday 29 th January.
