Dara Collins wins prize for the Annual Recycled Christmas Decoration Competition, Dec 2018

Dara Collins in Senior Infants was delighted to win our school’s recycled decoration competition in early December. This competition encourages children to make decorations from recyclable materials or everyday household items.

Dara’s Rudolph tree decoration made from clothes pegs was sent to County Hall for judging in the County Final, Dara was then invited to County Hall on December 7th for an award ceremony at which he was asked to show his beautiful decoration on the ‘Cat-walk of Champions”! Dara was awarded an impressive 4th place out of 36 school champions- we are extremely proud of our champion!
