The girls played in the DLR Cup this year.
We played against St Raphaelas in the first round. Both teams played well and Twinkie was awarded player of the match. We then played against Johnstown Girls in Kilbogget Park & moved onto the Quarter Finals. This game was played in our local club St Mary's in Moreen. Dalkey School Project was coached by Amy Wall, a very talented kickboxing champion and gold medalist. This was another good game which we progressed through. Tilly Dempsey was deservedly awarded MVP and given a trophy. Ms Donegan invited the team up to the top of the assembly hall on Friday last and everyone got to applaud them and offer their congratulations to the girls. Today we heard that a team had to pull out so we got a 'buy' straight through the the Final of the DLR Cup. In the Final, we will play either Ballinteer Educate Together or Mount Anville. We are very excited about this game.
