We all enjoyed another wonderful intercultural concert. The children performed a variety of songs in the native languages of their chosen pieces. The boys and girls loved listening to the diverse selection of songs and poems and enthusiastically clapped along to the rhythm of the music.
A special highlight of the concert was Michael from Zambia, who performed for the whole school through song and dance. Mr Connaire’s class brought the concert to a memorable close with their performance of Waka Waka by Shakira. This was a particularly proud moment as the children held six flags high, representing the African countries of their birth.
