We were delighted to have so many parents of our fabulous Junior Infants join us in the classroom last Friday morning. The boys and girls were so excited to ‘teach’ their parents the poems and songs we have been learning. The children were wonderful displaying their phonological skills and showing how they have recently mastered Tricky Words! They even performed some body percussion for their adoring audience to music by Vivaldi! A slideshow of photos taken throughout the children’s first year in school was very much enjoyed and it was great to see just how far the children have progressed in so many ways since last September. The parents were treated to teas, coffees and pastries afterwards by our ever capable Ms.Downes where they chatted to other parents about their wonderful children. All in all it was a gorgeous morning!!
