2nd class had a wonderful day of celebration on Saturday when they made their 1st Holy Communion.
It was a really special day where every child had a reading and an offertory job during the Mass. It was a beautiful celebration with Fr Jim chatting to the children about why they were there and the meaning behind this special day.
The children enjoyed having a chance to shine in front of their families and relatives. It was wonderful to welcome grandparents from Portugal, UK and Croatia for the celebrations. Many of the teachers from school and pupils of different religions in their class came to see them also.
Well done to all the children. We were so proud of you.
