Over the last two school weeks (8 days) we focused on the value of attendance and punctuality in Queen of Angels.
Every class took part in the ‘In the Line at 10 to 9’ challenge. Every morning at 8:50am a lollipop stick was handed to every child present in the line by their class teacher. The name of every child who attended school on all 8 days was put in a raffle to win a large Easter Egg hamper which was provided by our SCP Coordinator Peter Lennon. Well done to our winner Christy in 5th class!
Everyday there were spot prizes for those present in school. Two children’s names were chosen and called out daily over our school Intercom. If the child was present, they were named over the intercom and invited to the front office to receive a spot prize of an attendance wristband, badge and a lucky dip from the prize box. Well done to all our winners!
