The Junior Infants were so thrilled to receive a special delivery from the postman last week!! We had been learning all about the journey of a letter in SESE (social, environmental and scientific education) over the past few weeks so you can imagine the excitement when the postman arrived with envelopes addressed to them! Our buddies in 6th class had done a wonderful job of writing personalised letters to the infants, sharing news with them and even adding stickers in the envelopes as a little treat. The 6th class pupils came over to witness the excitement of the infants receiving the letters and helped read the letters to the younger children. It was a gorgeous experience, huge thanks to Ms.Dunne and her fabulous 6th class pupils for all their efforts in creating a magical experience for our Junior Infants.
